Tell your religious friends that you believe something different than they do and ask for some mutual respect. After you guys agree to disagree, stop talking about it. Your sex life and sexual beliefs are really none of their business.

What worries me about this question is not who's right or wrong. You sound as though you're determined to have sex before marriage to get even with those in disagreement with you.

The REAL reason you should have sex with someone is if you are in LOVE and committed to a serious relationship. No where do you even mention the feelings of your future partner. You sound very self-absorbed.

Also, are you mature enough to handle any consequences that may arise as a result of said sex? No where in your quesiton do you mention these factors. And no matter how you want to argue the rightness of your decision, the real issues aren't even mentioned here.

Another burning question is: are you able to pay for your own home? You may need to be more financially stable before such a relationship occurs. Maturity means you pay all your own bills.

I'm worried about you and any future sex-partner(s)

Sex is a drive inside all of us

and if you look back into history every only began to have sex after they were married but if you look closer they were married when they was 16years old
So they were already allowed to have sex on the age of 16 and that is when their sex drives begin

We are still the same human beings with the same needs of the human beings 40years ago the only thing that differs is that we get married at a must older age but the sex drive is still there

So what you make of that sex drive is all up to you

Respect your own beliefs before you respect others'. This is your life, not theirs...your relationship, not theirs...your business, not theirs
