There is a way to have your record expunged, You need to talk to a lawyer, it costs quite a bit, but its worth it. At least it is to some.

Don't give up!!!! It is possible, I didn't say easy! If you can't get a good job right off the bat take what you can! Start from there and work your way up. I suppose you will have to prove yourself before you are taken seriously. But all it takes is hard work & genuine "want to". It is not going to happen over night it could take a couple years. Don't set yourself up with to high of expectations, that will only discourage you & send your hopes crashing when you fail.

No way man. The past is history and the future is a mystery. Your past may be a hurdle, but thats all- leave it behind you. If you have the intention of keeping on the straight and narrow then life will reward you.
At my dad's work there is a typist girl who is BLIND, now that is an impediment to getting work.
Man seize the day, take that good life you long for, it is there for you to take

It's tough I won't lie, but I have friends with a record, and a degree, it just takes more effort to get the nice job.
It seems fair and yet unfair at the same time....it sucks....but until you get pardon or a clean record, it'll suck.
Good luck man

Get that college degree. Everyone deserves a second chance.
My uncle was thrown in prison and got out and turned his life around with a college degree and is very successful now.
Don't give up!!!

Call your local courthouse and ask about the exspongement program. We all make mistakes and a lot of courthouses are offering to expunge records for people who have straightened up their lives and become useful,Upstanding members of the community. Or a lawyer, for a small fee can argue your case and get it for you.

You still have plenty of time to work through this. Yes, there are things you won't be able to do - like become a banker - but you can still find a good job and overcome this!
Best of luck!

People should always get a second chance. Stop getting yourself into trouble and change. Prove to ppl that you're hardworking, and you're not what you were when you were 18. Start volunteering and getting experience to further your career.

It would be hard but you have to keep trying. Tell the companies that you are willing to start low and then you work your way up. Don't give up and start doing stupid things again. Good luck!
