He will be in the cabin, under the seat in front of me. He fits in his carrier but cannot really stand up and can barely turn around, and I refuse to put him in the cargo. Do you think this will be ok?

She'll have to go under the plane in cargo. Contact your cargo area for your airport and find out their crate requirements etc. It is pretty cold now to be travelling with a pet going into cargo. It's likely that they wouldn't take her til it warms up some.

I had to take my cat from Germany to the US. She traveled in a standard cat carrier (has to be approved by the airline), in the baggage compartment. There was another cat being shipped too. So I guess they kept each other company. I was even able to see the animals being loaded into the plane. The baggage handlers were very gentle. I forget which airline it was - I think it was United. She didn't seem traumatized or worse-for-wear when she got to our destination. If I were you, I'd try to get a non-stop flight, to reduce the chances of the cat being lost during the transfer.

I'm going to travel to Asia with my cat and I have asked the airlines for information. The cargo area for pet is HEATED. Pet cargo and goods cargo is different. So, it's safe for animal to fly.

I have traveled alot with my cats and right it truly is what i comprehend...so a strategies as nutrition you should signal a truth declaring that they have had nutrition interior the perfect 12 hours...also maximum airways require that each and each and every animal has a water bowl attatched to the door of the cage so as that the staff promises the animal water...also each and each and every cage has to have some type of asorbant textile interior the cage for spills no matter if or not that is a doggy pad or a small muddle field with muddle (i stumble on that cedar bedding works ideal even as flying with cats for muddle or use pussycat pine muddle in a small muddle field)..also if the cats are over the age of 6 months they each and each and every ought to have their personal cage...sturdy luck...
