I was just curious to kno if those slimming/sauna suits really work. You kno it has the long sleeved shirt and the pants and it is supposed to make you sweat more when you work out. Does it really help you lose weight? Just curious!!

Applying to the area heat and steam= I would think at first they do function. But then the chafing issue. I think then these are bogus and someone needs an actual sauna and forget about that belt. No flesh area of the body was meant to boiled until lobster red ew (and neither were poor lobsters)

Sure, if you stay in them long enough, you will lose weight in the form of sweat, which you will gain back as soon as you drink liquids. Such a suit could be outright dangerous in a warm climate. It does nothing to give you safe, permanent loss of excess fat.

Starwood is right. You only lose water and when you drink again it comes back. Stick to regular exercise and a healthy diet to lose weight. Slow weight loss - maybe 2lbs a week is better than fast because research shows it tends to stay off.

it would not, they basicaly make you sweat but it works with thermistors so when a certain temperature is reached that it can detect it switches of and on constantly to maintain that temperature (that is the belt) the suit will increase the temperature faster. so wearing both will get you sweating faster but not more. like not more sweat per second than when you have one on its own. however you will have started sweating sooner and so it would be slightly more effective in that sense. pvba

All it does is make you hot, it only works till you start to drink and put the fluids bake that it took out of you and you can dehydrate because of it.

Only when wearing them. Take them off and everything returns to what it once was.
