Actually, the person who takes the xrays is an xray technician, not a dr. The Radiologist is the Dr who looks at the xray and "reads" it. (Interprets). There is a big difference in the schooling. Most Dr.'s can read xray's but may not have the expertise to see some of the more subtle fractures that may be somewhat hidden.
