Sounds like she wanted a commitment and a car is not one. A ring would have been. First the ring then a car. Unless you do not want that but I would think that a man that would go out and buy a car for somenone probably does. Or you just have to much money if that is case sell the car give the money to charities.

OK told ya not to buy the car, way too soon kiddo. Who in their right mind would propose after dating only a few weeks? She's too demanding, ok she's gorgeous I'll give her that much, but too much for you right now. As for the car, she knows why you bought it and by saying she doesn't want it, she is only trying to get back at you for not falling to your knees for her. She may be sweet, kind and caring, but she has another side that you probably do not want to get to close to. Forget it for a while, let her calm down because she is only being irrational. She is so caught up in her ex proposing so much that she expects you to do the same, it makes her feel special, but it is not what you want right now so don't give in. Time is the only thing that can solve this
