I don't like the idea of a ban as such because you are imposing your views on others and these days we are all too ready to do this thereby taking away freedom of choice.
I do,however think that these carbonated drinks should be discouraged because of the harm they do to tooth enamel and also because of their tendency towards hyperactivity in some children.
Also I doubt they have much in the way of nutritious benefit and there are far better alternatives.
I think also that concern should be voiced about high sugar fruit juices being given to toddlers, particularly via bottle teats.Again the tooth damage here can be horrific.
Certainly there is a case for greater awareness and education

This made me chortle after I study it because all people always talks about how 'abstinent' Twilight is. My mothers and fathers not in any respect banned issues for me. If i really needed to study or watch something they permit me. all the did change into be particular i did not have get entry to to some specific stuff. So i'm antagonistic to faculties doing this. i imagine this is truly as a lot because the mothers and fathers, no longer the colleges. If faculties do not pick children to study Twilight maximum staggering is to charm to any interest to it, etc. yet i imagine attempting to prohibit children from bringing Twilight to college is ridiculous. There are books accessible that are worse for children than Twilight (ignoring the actual shown reality that this is different worse literature accessible) one can argue that this e book might want to offer children some incorrect ideas of ways relationships be conscious (like Edwards dismantling of the automobile engine to maintain Bella from seeing Jacob) yet i imagine that for children in uncomplicated college those options do not practice. i imagine this is as a lot because the mothers and fathers to pick and once the children attain middle college i imagine it really is going to be as a lot as them.

Carbonated drinks containing sugar should be banned in all schools. Teenagers are not immune to the ill effects of sugar-laden soft drinks.

I think carbonated drinks are okay for younger kids as long as they are diet and caffeine free. A few kids may be allergic to preservatives or colorings but that can be identified by a doctor / allergist My two kids never had problems, however, they are restricted to one per day. Too much of any drink, whether diet or otherwise isn't good. I think it's up to parents to teach their kids to make good choices in what they eat & drink outside the home.

No, I don't like the idea of banning anything that way. First it's soda, than it's pizza, than it's books, it just goes that way
