The bible (apocryphal not included) mentions two names, Michael (archangel) and Gabriel. Others were not named, but if you read the book of Daniel, there were many angels who appeared to aide Daniel and that they were warring against the minions of Satan.

The bible did not really gave a list of ranking (there are ceraphs and cherubs) but most of the angels mentioned in the book of Daniel are high-ranking, this will be confirmed by the way they are dressed. (accessories and color are based also on the robes of priests at that time).

There were other angels who appeared before the bible characters, but they materialized as men. Some of those who saw them were Abraham, Sarah, Lot, Jacob, John....and others.

----
Seraphs are in attendance at God's throne. Their assignment evidently involves declaring God's holiness and keeping his people clean.—Isaiah 6:1-3, 6, 7.
Cherubs are also seen in Jehovah's presence. As bearers or escorts of God's throne, they uphold Jehovah's majesty.—Psalm 80:1; 99:1; Ezekiel 10:1, 2.
Angels (meaning "messengers") are agents and deputies of Jehovah. They carry out the divine will, whether it involves deliverance of God's people or the annihilation of the wicked.—Genesis 19:1-26.

CONTRARY to what many believe, angels are not the departed souls of humans who have died. The Bible plainly states that the dead "are conscious of nothing at all." (Ecclesiastes 9:5) Where, then, did the angels come from? The Bible indicates that they were individually created by God before the founding of the earth. (Job 38:4-7) The size of God's heavenly family may be hundreds of millions, perhaps billions or more! Some angels joined Satan in his rebellion.—Daniel 7:10; Revelation 5:11; 12:7-9.

Since Jehovah is a God of order, it is not surprising that his vast angelic family is organized.—1 Corinthians 14:33.

* The foremost angel, both in power and authority, is the archangel, Jesus Christ, also called Michael. (1 Thessalonians 4:16; Jude 9) Under his authority are seraphs, cherubs, and angels.

Bible dosen't really go into all the much detail. Infact the word "angel" does not represent a species of being but a role. Angel simply means "messenger" or "servant" . The bible speaks of "the hosts of heaven". Heaven has a variety beings that inhabit it in the same way that earth has a variety of creatures created to inhabit it. God reigns over one and the being created in the image of God (man) rules over the other. The bible does list two species of angels : Seraphim and Cherubim. The bible names one apparent angel rank: archangel (which simply translates to "cheif" angel). Finally the bible mentions two angels by name: Michael and Gabriel. Thus only one rank is ever given and two names. When i spoke of the variety of the hosts i speak of creatures that range from being basically human looking to creatures with many heads and wings who are covered with eyes, to beings large enough to place one foot in the oceans of the earth and the other on the land of the earth, with faces as bright as the sun.

I do know the hierarchy of the Angels to put them in proper order,I need a little time to think.I can easily recall it is the Thrones that
are closest to God.There is another order higher than the Arch Angels,it may be Serphim, and there are no tiny angels, the
Cherubim are not baby angels.
