As a good shepherd Jesus Christ is our protector. In ancient Israelite times the shepherds went in front of the flock and hence guided the flock to safe places, where there was good pasture for the animals and moreover the fights off any predators that might be prying about inorder to pounce on the fflock. So it is with Christ our Lord He knows His flock and understands the needs of their life and guides them just as the Scriptures explain to us in Psalms 23:1-6. Be encouraged for Christ cares and loves the flock in His charge.

I like most all of the scriptures... the ones that are telling me to do better... I sometimes don't like... but overall... any reference to Jesus is a great way to express things to others... fisher of men being a prime example..
