i still like my ex and i told him how i felt and he said that he doesn't like me like that right now. what does he mean when he says right now? i am really confused because someone told me that he likes me but doesn't want a girlfriend right now. someone told me that he was just too shy to tell me he likes me. i am confused.

Honestly, if he adds "right now" to the end of that phrase, he is probably just trying to soften the blow to you. He might've thought that it seems a little cruel to tell you that he isn't interested at all, so he made it sound somewhat temporary. As a guy who has used similiar diplomatic responses like that before - such as the "I'm not ready for a relationship right now" response - I think they are usually employed when you're afraid to be too harsh with a girl by saying it won't happen, period.

He;s really trying not to hurt your feelings because he probably still has feelings for you, but not enough to keep the relationship going. Let it go and look for someone who will love you. It's the hardest thing in the world to do!

I am not sure what to say but I can refer a book to you called "He's just not into you". By Greg Berendt. I think that's how his last name is spelled. Anyway he also has a TV show called "The Greg Berendt Show" You should get the book and/or watch the show I think it would help a lot, and I think he is really cute too,and really fun to watch. It means he isn't interested in having sex with you (which is his problem), and is stumbling over his words trying to say it. He obviously needs some work in the smooth department.

It probably means that he still needs sometime to see how you are again .Just give him time even more if you just broke up. I have done that and a didn't pressure him and we ended up together again.I hope that helps. =]
