well you say its "your" dog so I would think it should be YOU who makes the time to properly care for & love your dog but if this is not possible then you should find the poor pooch a home where people can & will be able to play with, feed, & take proper caer of it...dogs are pack animals wich means they are social, they NEED attention & interaction w their fellow pack ( this would be you & your family since obviously the dog isnt in a actual dog pack) without regular attention & socialization your poor pooch will be unhappy & leaad a very depressing life......

Hi,

You may not want to hear this, but whose dog is it???

It is really sad if you can not spent any time with the dog and you expect your family to do so, its not there dog. This will become an issue, so much so that people are going to dislike the dog as it is a burden rather that a pleasure.

The best advice that can be given do not be selfish and look for a good loving family for your lovely dog. The best decision you can make it is so sad if a animal depends on you and hopes it will get the attention and love they need (like humans) and they will not get it.

Put your self in the dogs shoes (paws), would you like it.

Where are you all day, get up early and walk and play for an hour and do the same when you come home, give the dog a lovely house outside with lots of toys and fresh water, feed the dog after you played with it in the morning. Play with the dog at night and give a snack, always have plenty of fresh water available.

If this can not be done, be kind and find a loving home, ask your vet if he knows someone that would love a little dog, or you be surprised ask around, if it makes you feel better before you hand over the dog to anyone check out the new home.

It is the best thing for you little dog either commit yourself to take care of him/her, or find a new home for her/him.

Good Luck

well u can go get youre dog groom by shaveing it hairs to make it shorty then youre family wont worrying so much about having the dog shedding alot less not branch will be falling out over the house .if youre family dont wanna to take care of the dog then you should take care of youre own pet by yourself like take for walk and play fetch a ball so youre dog can chase it and bring back to u . if you cant even take care of the dog then gave somebody else who willin take care of it and have some one new will take outside and play with the dog . if u cant keep it .

You could try getting up an hour earlier, and giving the dog a game or a run. Then, there are weekends. If you have a safe place to walk it's good exercise for you and the dog.

Find the poor dog a home where people will spend time with him, love him and give him the attention that he deserves. Don't get another dog.

Donate the dog to petfinders.com or your local SPCA-- someone who will love and take care of him will adopt him--that's sad, but I'm glad you can realize that you are NOT doing right by the dog-- find him a new home, sooner than later, everybody deserves to be loved, especially animals that love unconditionally...........

Do the right thing if you can't give the dog what it needs find it a home that can.

I think you need to find the dog a new home. His needs are clearly not being met.

Myabe you should not have gotten it if you's didnt have the time for it. That is so sad. Give it to someone that would love it or in the mean time try and spend as much time as possible with it.

That is one of the reason why I alway urged one to think twice before getting a pet.

Sigh.... Anyother poor little dog.
