so i met this girl and we went out a couple of times @ first we only used to talk every once or twice a week and maybe on the weekends chill.its gotten to the point where we've decided that we're going to be bestfriends "for now".but ever since i said that to her ... we talk EVERY day...its been like that for a week or two now...and the other nite she called n told me she wanted to go out and do something which she almost never does becuase im usally the one asking her if she wants to go but i didnt go with her becuase i didnt feel like doing anything but she still called me the next day to see what i was doing to make things a little more clearer i like this girl and she likes me... we're just not dating yet... how do i break the ice or tell if she wants to be anything more than bestfriends?
oh ya... and this other thing is that she will ask me about other girls im friends with n i dont talk to her about them with her... then she says dont worry we're not dating so you can tell me

Well imma make this simple ... she know that u like her and its obvious that she likes you . i mean there really isnt any ice to break , honesty is the best policy being that u guys are just "friends" . so just tell her how u feel and i bet the feelings are mutual. Oh yeah and by the way that question she asked you about u talking to other girls was a set up ! she would care if u was talking to other girls on the phone . She just used that "were just friends card" just to get an answer out of you .

When she says that you can tell her about other girls, it seems to me she's interested but she doesn't quite know how to tell you so the only thing i can think of is to just ask. Have the 'what comes next' conversation where you talk about what to do next and how much farther to take the relationship. If you wanna be her partner then ask her to see if she wants the same thing just to make sure, even if you know she does. Well, that's what i'd do anyway.

Well, as a point of view i guess she wanted to know more about you before starting a relationship with you. Like what type of person/character you are. Usually a relationship start off from friends to couples. To break ice with her, maybe you can try asking her if she would accept you if you like her? See how she react. Good Luck to you!

I wish. Happened to me in HS. But she had a boyfriend. We talked every day. Now she's no longer with that guy, but we're not together.
Once a friend, always a friend. Sorry, but you kinda got the SHAFT. Move on, because dreaming about her really won't fix anything. It'll just depress you more.

Girls call everyday because they need to feel special,like they have a lot of people to talk to. Especially if the guy likes her she knows it, and she wants to mess with your head. Sorry I was a young teen girl only a few years ago.
