I was not impressed with Omaha Steaks. Their steaks are not corn fed or Black Angus. The rib eyes are not highly marbled and the burgers (which you get for free) taste like fast food.
I have not yet found a mail order steak I was impressed with. I stick to Rancher's Reserve or Black Angus from the grocery store.

Okay if what you are buying is puny and fatty, just go to your local grocer and save a little money. Now if you want good beef, go to a local butcher. Or a local packing company, who often sells fresh beef raised on local farms in the area.

I like fillet mignon also, however the best time would be to have the entire tenderloin and cook as chateaubriand for a big group of friends!
