law enforcement guys where and how do you meet them?

any ideas as to a gal goes about meetng a great guy in law enforcement w/o being stopped?

There are great guys that are cops and there are some real turds. Sometimes it's impossible to tell them apart. But that's true of all males of the species...badge or no badge.
When you specify that you want to meet a great guy who's a cop it would be the same as me saying I'd like to meet a great girl with big boobs. What makes them great?
Theres a reason that the cop divorce rate is among the highest for any profession. There are some who are married to the job, and there are some who realize the power of the uniform over women and take advantage of it. There are some nice guys who are cops but they are hard to find.
If you must insist on meeting a cop, the best chance to do that are either at restaurants that they frequent, or by taking a civilian job at a police department.
There are other historically compatible professions like nurses and airline employees that because of the shift work seem to be able to have a closer relationship with their LE counterpart.

Well, see if your local department has a "ride along" program. This is where civilians can join an officer on duty and go on patrol for a couple hours.
Check out the local gun club, many officers compete in shooting sports.
Is there a gym near the police station, If so, a number off officer will be members, physical fitness is important.
Relationships with cops can be a walk on the wild side. The job does take its toll, I'm on my third wife. It is not without its dangers either, In Florida, the wife of a local sheriff was ambushed and murdered.

Dial 911 and tell the dispatcher you are armed and are going to shoot the next person who comes into your line of sight. They'll send lots of cops for you to meet. The beauty in this plan is that if you do it from home you won't even have to leave your front door because they'll come straight to you! Furthermore, they'll be so eager to meet you they'll probably drive on blues and twos (flashing lights and siren) to get to your house. Hope you like bracelets because they'll all be bringing some for you to wear after you do this.

Go to Cop bar or when you see one you like, run a lite or stop sign. This way, you will see if he is interested. If he writes the ticket, your not his type. If he gives you a warning ticket, you have a chance. Otherwise, join the force and start breaking the departments policy of sexual relationships or dating between officers at the same precinct.

I know this doesn't answer your question but why would you want to meet one. I divorced one because of verbal and physical abuse.

You really want to meet one ... speed. I speed and get pulled over all the time w/o getting tickets and no they aren't friends of my ex.
