yes u can saftely take both meds at the same time. They r both for different things and different kinds of meds. Just take them as ur doc directs them and u will b fine. If u have any other questions ur dr is the only one who can give u safe and accurate advice, or a pharmacist. I hope this helps.

Definitely Yes. . this is crutial for getting through things like dental pain. Penicillin works on killing the unhealthy bacteria that is causing the pain, and lortab helps immensely with the excrutiating pain while this kicks in. Dentists will prescribe these together, so that the healing can be as painless and as comfortable as possible. There is nothing more painful I don't think than dental pain. Without the lortab the doctor had give me to take with the antibiotic, I truly thought I was going to go insane with a traveling kind of nerve pain.

May I suggest taking some Extra Strength tylenol, the 500 mg ones, I used to have a scratched eardrum, and a scratched lining of my eardrum it really does the trick its awesome for the pain part, take 1 maybe 2 at most in a few hour span I used to take 2 every 4 hours when I had my ear problem, I think that dosage was kinda high, I could have overdosed I think. So try not to be excessive on it, if pain returns only take 1 til the pain eases down a bit. keep dosage at 1 til you get extreme pain again, then take 2.
