Proactive just dried out my skin and made my face swell up and people kept asking me if I got sun burned. (in the middle of winter) It was 30 dollars the last time I check and you have to watch infomercials.

I'm sixteen and up until a year ago I had HORRIBLE acne, my face was covered in it, and now it is pretty much clear thanks to proactiv.

Go to proactivsolution.com to check it out. Most people get the three-step system, which includes cleanser, toner, and repairing lotion. There are tons of other things that you can order too, such as moisturizer, cover-up, oil control, sunscreen, body scrub, anything - you name it they've got it.

It costs about $40 for a two-month supply, but contrary to what "Joe Capo" said, you won't have to continue ordering it every two months. You can choose when you want them to ship each order, and you can cancel it anytime you want. I end up getting it about every four months, so for me it actually like paying ten dollars a month, which is a really good price compared to all the money that I'd be spending on face wash, acne medication etc. Oh and I've never had a problem with my skin getting dried out at all - if your daughter tends to get dry skin she can use any moisturizer that won't clog her pores (Oil of Olay is my personal favorite).

It should work great for her as long as she keeps up with it and moisturizes and she needs to... it's never been much on a burden on me.

I've tried EVERY medication out there and Proactiv was the only one that ever worked for me. The results were much better than I could have asked for, too. I strongly recommend it. Proactiv has my heart. =)

I tried all sorts of products to sort out my skin, proactive works but when you stop using it the spots come back. The best thing I have found is a shop called Lush. They do an exfoliating cleanser called 'sweet japenese girl' that you wipe off with warm wet cotton wool to open your pores and get rid of dead skin, follow it with a tea tree cleanser which is full of antibacterial goodies then use 'enzymion' moisturiser which uses cold pressed natural oils to stop your skin getting greasy. Also use their cupcake face mask once or twice a week and her skin will be better in no time. The range is all natural and very well priced. (I use everything above and it cost me less than £15)

Good luck and hope this helps xx

Proactive is ok but clear.now worked much better for me. Like proactive, it's a three-step system, but the way I understand it, the molecules are smaller so they get into your pores more easily -- I just know I've seen the difference in my own face. You can get it from www.jewel.mychoices.biz -- just use the search field at the bottom of the screen to find it. Hope this helps.

for Acne, its a 3-step solution, scrub, cleanser, and repairing lotion, I've used it for bout 3 years and does a really great job, clear skin, but it stops working once you stop using it, so thats the only downside of buying a commercialized item. Ranges from $40-$50 for a 2-month supply. But you are forced to have a new 2-month supply every 2 months, so be prepared for that.

I used Proactive once cause i had really bad acne on my chin and forehead area. I loved it. They give you a skin toner which gets rid of you oils, or makeup on your face, which you use before you go to bed, and a facial scub with tiny microbeads which are good for you pores and skin altogether. I believe some places you buy it from provide you with a facial mask for before bedtime also. id highly recommend it. If you watch TV sometimes Jessica Simpson will be on there advertising it and how she loved it then they give you a number to call and order. I think right now its on sale for $19.95 USD. Hope that helps.

It's only on infomercial over here. I don't know if you can buy it in the shops.
I went on Roaucatain (sorry don't know how to spell it). I had acne for over 10 years and that's the only thing that worked for me. I now have oily skin, but it's not blocked like it used to be. Proactive looks good, but I never trust those, "can only buy it off TV" products.

Its a skin care line designed for acne. It includes a face wash, a toner, and a lotion. I believe proactive.com sells it. It is around thirty dollars for a 30 day supply.

However, it didn't work for me.

i am not trying to be dramatic, but proactiv saved me!! my dermatologist wanted me to go on accutane, and i was hesitant. two monthes later my acne is perfectly clear-- your daughter will be so happy. order online by credit card on orderproactiv.com-- it is $20.00 a month- hardly more than you are undoubtedly spending now!
