I always see celebrity shots released to the press. What if I want to see a family member's?

It is public information, however, you may have to pay a few dollars to get it. Media, other law enforcement agencies, and anyone in the legal field usually do not pay for them. Some counties have all mugshots of in custody inmates on their website.

You can access booking photographs through many County Sheriff and Police Department web sites. In most states they are public documents.
Go to site below and type in Smith, see what happens.

If I want to see family photos, I just open a photo album in my desk but you lucky devil can look up the county jail booking info online. Go to the sherrifs office web site for the county in question...and you sister has funny hair...must be a bad pic...

no they do not but you can pay to get one on the net
