how quick are tax returns when you e-file?

it is direct deposited into my account. how soon is federal and how soon is state?

State and Federal take roughly the same amount of time. Here is the refund schedule:

I can tell you from experience that you will have your money wired to your account in two calendar weeks (maybe 17 - 20 days TOPS)

For me, my state (Cal) refund comes with in 1 calendar week and the Fed a few days more.

They say 8 to 14 days. If it is efiled before Feb 8th, refunds are issued Feb 16th.
