provide more information as to how they are pulling off the fraud and quite possibly someone might have more information regarding how to help you get your money back.

TO answer your question,
They are probably getting away with it because most people wont talk about it or dont know about it.

to answer your second question, NO you should not let it go...I dont know if you should pay the 1k because you didnt say how much money you lost.
It is also not a done deal that you have to pay 1k to get your money back~
please go to www.ripoffreport.com and file a complaint.

You might find that there are more people out there but if not you can be the first...
That way when someone who is trying to get more information about this company puts that name into a google search they will know the kind of games that they play and that you think that they are a fraudulent company.

Even if you dont get a dime at this point,
YOu will feel so much better knowing that they are not getting more money off of others as easily and they might even contact YOU to shut you up with a payoff.

If not, others will contact you for sure.
Instead of one person having to pay 1k, if you post your complaint and find only ten other people to file with you, you could all band together and make your voice heard in the media or with an attorney and instead of having to pay 1k each of you would only have to pay 100 bucks.
(which in my opinion would definitely make it worth the effort!)

GOOD LUCK!
(sorry this happened to you, dont let them get away with it)

funny, I just spoke with them today and was emailed a loan packet. I have read other things on the web where people state that they did indeed follow through with their loans, but how real are those postings. I really need help with the debt but sounds like this is a scam. Let me know where you get in terms of getting to the bottom of this
