My bf and I have been together for 2 1/2 years, we are in a our mid-20s and are bored with the typical date night activities (movies, going to a restuarant, etc) What are some good activities for us to do that are relatively inexpensive. We have fallen into a rut, and are bored by are same old activities.

1) Buy cowboy/girl hats and go to a rodeo.
2) Revisit your meeting place. Or your main hang out when you first met.
3) Go swimming with an underwater camera.
4) Learn to ride a horse together.
5) Have a late night champagne picnic by the lake.
6) Go to a local sports event, buy a hot dog, and cheer for the team of your choice.
7) Have a Christmas gift exchange using items around the house. Wrap them in anything that covers and explain why you gave it when they open it up. (ex. I gave you this remote because one of my favorite things is snuggling in front of the TV watching a good movie with you)
8) Go fishing.
9) Select some friends and make dinner for them. Call them to make sure they will be home and tell them not to make dinner plans.
10) Have a photo and yearbook date night. Get out all the old pics and books you can find and relive the past for a few hours.
There are a ton of books with great ideas in them. Just Google 100 great dates. Or frugal date ideas. I hope the few I listed will give you a few nights of fun anyways. I'm glad you are trying to mix it up a little. Keep it fun. Good luck.

Why dont you two try going to a park late at night and take a blanket and some drinks with you to sit together under the night sky.
Go for a night stroll around the neighborhood.
Read a book together or find something new and interesting to discuss.
Go to the gym together or sign up for a physical ed class together.

1. Go to a Park and spent some hours on the grass.
2. Go to the river bank or sea coast and have a long walk.
3. Lie on your terrace and soak in the sun.
4. Invite some freinds on Tea/Coffee pyjama party. (low cost)
