1. We are taught that we area born sinners (all are born sinners) And sin is anything that we think, say, or do.
2. We ARE nothing without God! If he wasn't real, we wouldn't be here. There is proof of that too!
3. Things will get worse because God is trying to show us that time is ticking and we should get closer to him before that.
4. Jesus not only died for our sins, but he rose again. I will follow anyone who can raise themselves from the dead without any help from anyone.
5. Everyone can judge. But God is the only one who choose who will live with him in paradise, and who will spend forever in pain and loneliness.
6. God will forgive us for everything we do. Because he loves us so much! But we have to be willing to believe him.

We don't always use the hell threat. Sometimes Christians use it to scare people and they should be scared! I myself would not want to spend eternity in hell with no one, in pain because of the flames. But what is even worse. You have no way to communicate with God. You lose all that when you go there.

Christians don't do “Good” because they are threatened by Hell! Or at least they shouldn't! True Christians are very aware of all their wrong doings (more so than those who say they don’t need help doing what is right). True Christians are aware of the gifts that God has given them and do “good” in return for that gift. We do “good” because it makes God happy. Most True Christians are aware that along with the entire human race they don’t deserve the grace & forgiveness that God offers.

I hate that some Christian churches teach falseness, like: God will fix all your problems, or God makes you happier than Prozac…That is Bull-ony!!! That is why you have been left with a bitter taste in your mouth, because of the hypocrisy, and the lack of results. God is not a genie, not a 7/11 open 24/7 for whatever you want because God doesn’t care about physical things that you can’t take with you to His kingdom. He cares about the spiritual treasures you store up, the things you do to show him how grateful you are that you are still physically living & living spiritually even though you don’t deserve it…. If you really truly are looking for truth read these books, along with the Bible: A Full House of Growing Pains by Barbara Cameron & Hard to Believe by John MacArthur. They can explain a lot.

Lord in the name of Jesus please open the understanding of the person asking this question.
As a Christian, I was not taught that we are born bad, yet that everyone has a choice to live for God or not. We are nothing without God, because without Him we WILL perish. Things will happen just as the Bible teaches us until the return of Jesus and thereafter. Jesus did die for all of our sins and I thank Him for that. I thank Him for you too. God is the only judge and He will forgive you of your sins and He loves you with a love that passes all understanding. Be blessed.

The better question is why do you care? If you don't believe in Christianity, why would you care about how Christians tick? Any valid reason? Here's a thought, live your life and let others live theirs. It won't kill you, I promise. Be secure in your beliefs and don't feel the need to bash others if you find their beliefs ignorant (not a fact, your opinion by the way) or sensless. Your "questions" only keep the overzealous religious folks alive & kicking. You're adding to the problem, not dropping some knowledge on some lost lambs.

Your whole approach is aggressive and off putting. If you want to share your thoughts, go for it. Insulting someone and raising questions they've been asked a million times before isn't going to make them realize their life has been wasted believing in something you deem stupid. An intelligent approach would work better if you really want to get your ideas across.

Why don't you believe, don't look at and judge us, Christ is the example !!!
Jesus left an empty tomb behind along with over 500 hundred witnesses, plus the many that He raised from the dead at His resurrection. He was not a fictional character. The prophets of old and the apostles died for what they believed. When you speak the truth many come to know the truth because there is the witness of the Holy Spirit to that believing person which confirms God's existance. I'm sorry you can't bring yourself to believe.

By the way true perfection is on the otherside of this life !!!

We all have sinned and fell short of the Glory of a righteous God just for kick read revelations and then ask yourself "If there is one chance in a million this is true than am I will to be the guy gnashing my teeth?" Lottery player take a chance at less odds than that so hey I guess I have to ask you a question " Do you feel lucky".

this relates the the whole "without peace you must prepare for war" oxymoron. If there were no threatening consequences for your actions you would do anything you want, yet hell scares people into being good (yes, it is a form of terrorism, but then again, isn't everything?) Bad behavior still comes because, seriously, if someone is forcing you to do something isn't it human nature to challenge it? also: the bible provides justifications for just about everything if put in the right context

Well, let me ask you, why do you need the "threat" of lawful punishment to be law-abiding good citizen of the nation you live in?

Fear serves its purpose, and atheists try to make fear into some kind of moral evil. There are different kinds of fear, there is morbid fear (paranoia) and healthy fear (respect for unpleasant consequences). It is the latter that I am referring to that is so necessary for our daily living.

Hell is not a punishment per se. It is a destination that YOU choose right now before death comes upon you. In hell, you are only getting the consequences of your own desires. And if I were you, I would avoid hell at all costs!

Nice question and the atheist will have fun with it as much as yourself but turn around and throw a few insults at the atheist and the res ponce that you receive will neither be as kind nor nearly as pleasant as the ones you received here, give it a try later see how popular you become????

You have nothing without God in your life.....A Christian who dies will meet God and live with him forever. A person who is not a Christian will be condemned to eternal punishment.
