You'll be lucky if your insurance company will even cover the vehicle if you do. The majority of companies will not cover a modified vehicle, which is what yours will be.

The alteration itself will not affect your policy at least as long as they are not aware of it. It will, however, affect warranty - factory and extended.
The question is: if you get into an accident, and the company determines that the alteration had played a role in it - after all, it DOES affect handling of the vehicle - they may deny payment.

No change in ins. Is the vehicle paid for? I lifted my chevy a total of 10 inches. There is no change. If it is not pd. for and you have a warranty on it, you will void it by lifting it. I assume it is pd. for though so the sky is the limit.

As far as I know your premium should remain the same. The one perameter that would change your rate would be the actual USE or PURPOSE of the vehicle. ie---if you race or participate in organized off road activities-the premium would increase

You are supposed to notify the company when any changes are made. It's doubtful that modification would lead to an increase, but you might ask to be sure.
