i dyed my hair a week ago, how long do i have too wait to dye it again ....i dont want to over process my hair....plz help thanks

I would wait another week or so and in the mean time, apply a hot oil treatment or deep conditioning treatment everyday to get your hair in the best shape possible before coloring it again. And make sure whatever your next color is will blend or cover what color it is now.

It depends on what type of hair dye you used. Was it hair lightener/bleach? If so, you will need to wait a few weeks and make sure to condotion it well. If it was just regular haircolor, you can color it but again be sure to condition it well so it doesn't get dry or brittle looking. Good luck, hope it turns out.

Well, I am not sure, but I dyed my hair myself one night and the following morning I went and had highlights to put in. But normally I wait 3 weeks between colorings.

It depends on the quality of the dye solution but it's best to wait about six weeks to dye again unless you're doing a two step process.

I asked this question myself, not too long ago.
I have decided to be safe and wait as long as I can.
It's been about 3 weeks I think..
Your going to get mixed answers like I did probably.
Just try to leave it alone for a little while. You might not like it right now, but dont risk it and make a bad situation worse.
I plan to wait at least 5-6 weeks.

you shouldnt need to dye your hair more then once every 3 months. dying your hair once a month is a sure way to over process your hair. go with my advice and stick to one color for awhile!

Read the box, I didn't once and it said wait 6 weeks and my hair turned orange on top and green on the ends!

First of all why do you want to dye it again????
To light?To dark?
it's not a good idea to keep putting tint over tint...layer over layer of color...pretty soon it's a mess and you can't get a decent color out of any of it.....I ask my customers to wait until they need a touch up (roots done) at least a month...................you will damage it with to much color!!!!!!!!!!!!

dye the hair is harmful to ur hair.. no more than twice a year was what doctor said.. so now i think u already know the answer
