I am asking for a bit of advice. This isn't what happened, but it is a similar scenario. What if you were with a girl, and had given her a promise ring, and had been with her for a year, and you found out she cheated on you? But you told her you wanted to work things out, what would you want her to do to show you that you can trust her again, and to make things right? What would you want her to do?

Give you back the promise ring. Trust her again?, I think she did more than just cheated on you. Move on, She won't do anything to please you,eh, has she not cheated already?
Should you really be serious, ask her why she cheated. Sounds as though you are being used until she finds a sweetheart.

sorry hun, i'd never give a cheater a second chance.. too risky that she will reoffend. if she really loved the guy, she never would have cheated in the first place. give back the promise ring and break up so you can both move on to find more compatible partners..

well to be blunt, not to do it again or lie about it.
but other than the obvious reasons (i had this happen to me so i got a plan already) i asked her to do the craziest thing. i asked her to date a friend of mine for 3 months. i told my friend all about it, and he teased and flirted with her like crazy, he got her drunk a few times, was all romantic with her and tried his best. she did nearly break a few times, lil kisses and stuff, but i knew those were going to happen. oh did i mention we were actually broke up during this part. but after the three months were over my friend broke up with her, and i trusted her more than before, but it still took time before i trusted er as i used to. So TIME is the best thing to solve this. theres nothing you can really do, but hope for the best and wait it out.

Look in her eyes and that will tell you everything you need to know. What i mean is next time you talk to her sit so that you can see her face and watch her eyes. Most of the time when people lie they look away.
