OK, I need some help. I'm in the college, and I like this girl a lot. We are very good friends in the sense that we take same classes together and we work together, too. I don't think we're close enough to be dating. But i like her a lot, and want to ask her out. I'm afraid what if she says "no", i might even loose the relationship we have right now, which i don't want to happen. Should i ask her out regardless of what happens next? If so, what are some techniques i should use to do it. I've never done this before and i need some serious help. Thank you all.

first of all does she have a boyfriend. second, try to get into a conversation about friends dating friends, and go along the lines of what she would expect out of friend she was dating. ask her if she would date a friend, if this conversation is benefiting you then you could either jump right ahead and ask her, or just take it slow, and start doing alittle more romantic i want to get with you type of stuff after school or on weekends

let me ask you something.. what hurts more? the idea of not being able to talk to a girl, or the idea of being rejected? talking to a girl doesn't mean you are going to get married!! she is just a person and believe me, she is not going to bite!!!

besides, you are already friends, so there is no reason why you shouldnt talk to a girl, go on, try it!! Just ask her out, forget about the techniques, be natural and remember to be yourself.

Ask her if she wants to go out for pizza after studying and play pool. Pay for her and just get to know her. If you feel like she likes you next time ask her out on a date.

well flirt with her, see how she reacts to that first. work it up, and if you have already done so go ahead and ask her out. you guys will remain friends if she says no, its just how you treat the next day when you see eachother. (ex: if u avoid her- the friendship ends, act like notthing happened -then you guys remain friends). so go out on a whim, you just may be suprised
