Makes lots of sense. Imagination is the only thing that can mentally take you out of this world, however, from imagination reality is born. Always remember to dare to dream.

I believe it represents all the pent up longing that can be found in society but that no one really dreams of. Most people in office are educated and the education tends to have you believe in reality. Hope would be alongside imagination because another phrase for hope is wishful thinking.
I believe this quote is quite accurate if you do not want to think of the illegal things that people use for a temporary escape.

That is a pretty neat quote. I would say that imagination upgrades reality.
