I looked through your other questions, Amber, and I think you have an eating disorder.
Eating isn't some optional thing that makes people fat.
Eating is what keeps our bodies alive. Living without eating is literally like driving without gas. It's physically impossible.

Not sure. The thing about fasting is that it puts the body in another state of being. Your body may produce chemicals (from its interior pharmacy) that it usually doesn't not synthesize. That can be health promoting. It is important to remain happy while fasting for this reason.
Another factor might involve tension. There is a dynamic tension between INPUT (of food) and OUTPUT (metabolism, excersize). One way to get one's cells hungry is to fast. If one's appetite is low, it might be considered as an adjunct to traditional diet. There is also the idea that you should "not eat until you are hungry", which is really a type of fasting. For promoting metabolism, snacking constantly is not an answer either. Your body needs spaces to rest, which seems to suggest that fasting to some degree has merit. Three meals a day is a good rule of thumb.
It depends what your motivation is behind fasting. If you desire a spiritual experience, they maybe fasting is good. However, it is always good to have plenty of minerals and vitamins coarsing through your body. Such a condition would make your fasting experience even better. Trace minerals, especially from salts or clay, are a good way to get adequate minerals. Vitamins should come from your food. Your food will taste better after a fasting.
Fasting puts the body under some stress, which can be good for it from time to time. A moderate amount of stress it good. Too much or too little can be detrimental.
Of course, processed, lousy foods with slow your metabolism.

Yes it really does. This is only because you are not getting all the proteins and nutrients that your body needs. Also, food is energy. Good carbs are energy, and this all resorts back to your metabolism. Once you stop eating your body will start taking nutrients and other things from wrong places and sooner or later you will not have the energy to do normal everyday things.

Yes,. The body thinks it is starving. What I do is take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in an 8 oz. glass of water. 93 vitamins and minerals. You will lose weight because you are getting the vitamins you need.

Absolutely. If you starve your body of Calories (energy), it will slow down to compensate. You need to fuel your body frequently throughout the day to keep your metabolism revved up.

in a way, yes. when you fast, your body relies on the stored fat cells to burn energy. you will slump at losing weight at first on a fast, then your body will burn calories but at a slower rate than eating 6 small meals a day.
it is never good to fast unless directed by a doctor.
