You will get answers that state women should NOT preach, be the head of a denomination. They base this on what Paul said about "the women need to be silent." However, it was NOT in the context most "men" have come to know and stake claim.
Women are key figure roles throughout the entire Bible, from Genesis through Revelation.
We are told once in Christ there are no more Jews or Greek (Gentiles), no more male or female, no more free or slave.
WE are told however.. to go out and spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It doesn't say.. only men in Christ to go spread the good news.
Anyone that claims that women are not to be preachers, pastors, priests, etc... do not understand the culture of that time Paul was talking to the congregation.
Women are needed in the church... to set examples for the young girls... they are teachers of other women and children.
What happens if there is NO man that will take charge of the congregation because they know if they do.. they will be judged harshly compared to those that didn't take charge? But, you have a woman who will get up there and take charge until the church finds a man that will come in and be the head leader?
People need to study how the culture was during the times the authors wrote their books, letters, etc. in the scriptures.
There is nothing wrong for a woman to become a pastor, priest. ect. Who is man to place limitations on who God calls to ministry?
Are they suppose to be the "head Pastor", maybe not.. but there are times coming that women will take the lead because men will refuse to hear.
Did Deborah not lead men in the courts.. and battle?
Who was it that Jesus appeared to first upon His resurrection from the grave?
Women have KEY roles ... don't put limits God!!!!!

When God created Adam, Eve, she was made from the rib of Adam. Now this is not saying we are below man. All prophets and all Disciples were men. In the Book of Corinthians, it states that the man is head of the household. And goes on to say women shouldn't speak in Church. I do not believe that woman should serve as Pastors, Rev., Priest. or with authority in a Pastoral position. I feel that some of the women has had to step forward because men have not lived-up to be the man of the family. And the absent father/mother is hard on the children no Dad/Mother to depend on.

Sure, why not. If anyone wants to preach, let them. Sex has very little to do with memorizing some lines of scripture and talking about it.
lol @ serious answers only, others will be reported....yeah, that'll stop the people from saying whatever they want. Good luck with that!

My church doesn't have women pastors because the bible says that women should not hold a position of authority over a man in a teaching capacity. I know there are churches that do have women pastors. Although I revere God's word and would never dispute it....I want to say one thing. There are men in pulpits that do not teach the bible as God's word. There are women in pulpits that do teach the bible as God's word.
That being said, I understand, and respect, my churches stand on not having women pastors.

I personally DON'T agree with this, but here goes:
1Tim 2:11-1211Let a woman* learn in silence with full submission. 12I permit no woman* to teach or to have authority over a man;* she is to keep silent.
the KJV
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1Corinthians 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

When you say serious answers, do you mean only the answers you want to hear? That doesn't seem fair.
Anyway, I think women should be able to do any job they want to. Just because some 2 thousand year old book says that women should be silent in matters of the church doesn't mean it's right.

You want to know what is in your bible? Clearly you haven't actually read the bible or you'd know this. It isn't as if it is hard to forget.
1 Corinthians 14:34 - 35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
I'd say that makes it very clear.
WOMEN ARE TO BE SILENT! ISN'T THAT A WONDERFUL MESSAGE!!
Women are to learn from their husband. WHAT IF THEIR HUSBAND IS AN IDIOT!!! YOU KNOW AN ARCHEY BUNKER TYPE!!
