I would say that as our bodies are in a constant mode of change, yes it is possible, and to embrace it. To ask the obvious ,what's wrong with curly or wavy hair ? Be thankful you still have hair and enjoy.

hair growth occurs in cycles. each complete cycle has three phases that are repeated over and over agin throughout life. to complete the cycle takes approximately 7 years. yes your hair can change with each cycle. it would be a gradual change because each individual strand goes through this cycle at different times. however, everything you consume (ie. medications, diet, etc) and your health have roles in the health of your hair as well. also many women notice dramatic changes during and following pregnancy...... of course hormones and vitamins play a major role in this.

your hair changes texture and colour about every 7 years...my best friend for an instance used to have very curly and frizzy hair and now her hair has become more straight and less frizzy..so anything is possible!

My hair was thin and pin straight when I was younger, and is way thicker and sorta wavy now. In fact, the entire texture of my hair is different. It's from all the greys I'm sure. :)

Yes your hair changes throughout your life....The texture of it and of course the color and density....you could be born with thin blond straight hair and end up with thick wavy dark brown hair ....Hormones can change the shape of the hair follicle and the hair changes to fit the follicle....you've heard that our body's change.like every seven years or so...... So does your hair.... sounds like yours was for the better..................Lucky you!!!
