Everyone please give me your tips and advice on how to lose weight. If you've found ways to shed some pounds, please share them with me. I know exercise and eating is the main things, but how much exercise? What should I eat? And of course, I know the water thing...

See a doctor or trainer at a gym for a personalized, CUSTOM diet and exercise plan...and stick to it.

Well, I eat what I want, just not as much, for one. Also, I monitor how the food I eat is prepared... I stay away from highly greasy foods, try to watch the salt intake, things like that.

I've heard that eating crackers and milk help, so long as you don't eat much else. Apparantly, the crackers are supposed to help with carbs or something (never realized carbs were even in crackers though), and the milk should give the body enough good fat and vit. D and all that to sustain a person. I don't know how much credibility there is to that particular method, but a woman a work with swears by it...

Exercise is a big way to help shed pounds and strengthen your body, but you mentioned that.

Unfortunately, for us women, it's harder for us to lose weight than men. Good luck!

I'll warn you...It doesn't come easy! In my opinion the best thing to do is a combination of cardio, free weights and a clean diet. 5 small meals daily to raise the metabolism. Do 20 minutes of cardio daily, preferrably first thing in the morning before you eat. Then have a healthy breakfast like oatmeal and fruit. Strength train with free weights at least twice weekly. Avoid simple sugars aka "junk food" go with a low fat/high protein diet. No fried or processed foods. Eat lots of grilled or baked chicken, Fish, vegetables, fruits. By adding muscle to your frame you will burn more calories at rest. For every pound of muscle you add you burn an additinal 50 calories per day at rest. And drink LOTS of water! Good Luck!

Well I found a program that really works. It allowed me to lose 20lbs in a month (guys lose more quicker than females). So If your looking for a weight lose program I have a suggestion. This helped me a lot and I even had someone to motivate me and help me through the process.
