Tell her that since he has moved on so sad, so should she. She will find someone else to love.. And she will feel good again. I mean she probably does know, but dosnt want to tell, and thats ok. So take her out on a girls night before she gets back into the game! Good Luck and Happy Valentines Day!!!

Well she isn't going to stop anything if she doesn't admit it to herself first. She has noo reason to cry or be upset if she still doesn't have feelings for her ex. I don't mean like "love" necessarily, but maybe jealousy? She could miss his memories or something more than him exactly. But just give her a shoulder to lean on. Let her talk everything out and calmly tell her what you think. She needs support, and the best people to turn to in a time of need is a friend. :o)

She is crying because her ex has MOVED ON, but her emotional state won't allow her to. She is implicitly aware of this. She is also crying over the loss of that which is familiar. Now your friend will have to carve a new life out for herself. This challenge creates initial feelings of fear and concern. But this too, will pass!

It is IMPORTANT that your friend MOVE ON with her life and Let God and Let go of her past. She and her ex have history, but now they ARE history. She must accept this truth and honor herself by marching forward with her own life. Anything less than that is virtual suicide and needless self-pity.

She has nothing to prove to her ex. So now is the perfect time to take inventory of herself and work on some of her BAD habits first, and find another suitor who can treat the NEW HER better.

she's obviously hurt or in anger over the new girlfriend...I think you need to understand that you might only be the one to tell her to try and move on with her friends and making new friends. ...sounds to me that the "Ex" is really a scapegoat and your friend should learn from it and know that BFs come and go when you're young...she has to accept the breakup...its too bad that she can't be just a friend with him.
(Or is the new girlfriend someone you two know???~that could make it worse!!)

Its funny when you break up with someone you don't like anymore. The minute they find someone else, it can be the most painful thing in the entire world. Its more of a blow to the ego than to the heart.

She is perfectly normal.

Its like, wanting to break up with someone and they do it first - its terrible!

Just be there for her and listen and let her cry it out. You're a good friend.

don't let your friend fool you. your friend still has feelings for her ex boyfriend. the feeling that she's having (of crying and not liking him) is because of her pride. think about it, a hurt woman is easily susceptible to hold resentment feelings.

She probably feels rejected or replaced, neither of those are good feelings, no matter who they're about.

She needs to keep her mind off of it and have fun.
