I wish I had this 2 years ago when I damaged my rotator cuff while showing off. This is very detailed and really gives you the techniques you need to sort out your own shoulder issues and a lot more info such as preventing further injuries. If you have a shoulder keeping you awake at night you'll know it's no laughing matter.

I have had similar problems before, and though you may be eating healthy, some foods can cause gas. AND as strange as it may seem certain foods can cause what's known has upper respiratory gas. When the pain strikes it sort of takes your breath away and you hold your breath until the pain subsides. I take phazyme or any over the counter gas relief medication. I also recommend seeing a Doctor as well, just for a good measure. Hope this help.

go to webmd.com. they have a little symptom checker on the top right corner. its a little person. click the area where you are feeling most pain and it will ask you questions about it. this either sounds like cramping (which can be VERY painful but not serious) or a mild heart problem. You may also be lacking in certain protiens and other vitamins you don't get by eating meat. They usually have to be made up by foods that do have it OR by taking vitamins.

It could be gallstones?? I'm having my gallbladder removed on Thurs, and prior to having a very painful attack last month I was having pain in my chest and felt bloated and uncomfortable. It becomes worse if you eat fatty foods.
I would get it checked out ASAP, I had to have morphine when I had my "attack" and have panadine forte for any pain until the op. Thankfully I have been reasonably fine since the 'attack' as I have stayed away from fatty foods, and I have also lost 4kgs.

If you have trouble breathing when this happens call 911. You could have what is called a spontaneous pneumothorax, i.e., collapsed lung. It could be plurisy, you could have a pulled muscle, or referred pain from some other area. There are just too many reasons for it. I'd call my doctor and ask him/her what to do. Pain is your body's way of telling you something is not right. Listen to it.
