it has to do with the beans my friend. just like good coffee, were the beans are the most important part, how there roasted handled and processed makes all the difference in the world. also where they come from, makes a big difference. 15% coca means that your eating milk chocolate, and if someones getting $45 for it good for them. 100% chocolate would be inediable by the way if you want to find out go buy the cheap 100% bakers chocolate at the store next to the marshmellows

have you ever eaten 100% coca it's not sweet it very bitter. Go and get some baker chocolate and try it. It is the purest from of chocolate that I know of. Taste has a lot to with cost, so does marketing (Who is seen eating them?)and packing used(I gotten chocolates that where boxed in tins, wood and those that cover in the most beautiful velvets and lace). I love chocolate and have made many over years, staring with mom and dad(whom was cook and would make the best fillings). If I'm buying chocolates from a store it Fanny May or See's and most times it dark chocolate because I don't like very sweet things. More over I like texture and taste if I found anther company made same product that cost less with I would it buy there.
