Here's a few that may seem random, but they would all work.

"I Loved Her First"- Heartland
"God Only Knows"- Beach Boys
"When You Love a Woman"-Journey
"Baby It's a Wild World"-Cat Stevens
"Heaven"-Bryan Adams
"Don't Want to Miss a Thing"-Aerosmith
"Flying Without Wings"-Ruben Studdard

You can also try this song

"Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Dylan.

Its a sweet song about a father and a daughter and how the daughter is growing up so fast and at the daughter`s wedding, the father tells the daughter that he misses his little girl. and well, listen to it and read the lyrics. it is such a beautiful song.

congradulations on the wedding!

Any song no matter the Genre will be perfect as long as the words of the song fit the Father/Daughter. Listen to alot of them until you just love one.

Me and my fiance personally like country, but my dad hates it, so I am going to try to find a song that isn't country to play for me and my dad because that is what fits us.

Listen to multiple artists and there are plenty of websites out there with suggestions for songs, so you can listen to clips of songs on CDnow.com or myspace or Launchcast or anyother website that hosts music or cd sales.

If you need a first dance song for you and your bride-to-be there is a cd titled FirstDance that has alot of good songs on it too.

If you like country--"My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw.

If you like soft rock--"Zoe Jane" by Staind

"My Girl" by The Temptations is always a classic.

"The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Senatra is good.

"Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)" by Green Day is pretty good if that's your style.

R&B is kind of hard but I'm sure you can find one if you look hard enough!

There are so many out there. Check out MySpace music or Launch to figure out the perfect song for both of you!

I think...I'm not really sure what race has to do with this song, but since your fiancee's family has very eclectic musical tastes, I would go with something classic, specifially "Unforgettable," the duet with Nat King Cole and his daughter, Natalie...or even "Something Stupid," with Frank Sinatra and his daughter, Nancy. But I much prefer "Unforgettable" (That's going to be my Father-Daughter).

Congratulations!

I lost my father 5 years in the past.. it somewhat killed me observing any songs. yet then I lost my mom 2 years in the past and have been given married in August. My grandfather danced with me and we danced to bounce with my father lower back by Luther Vandross. that's a super music. i like it and it somewhat takes my emotions and places them in a music. My desire is a solid music, i in my opinion used that for my bridal social gathering intro. solid success..

I don't think that Father/Daughter weddings are legal in Australia, but other cultures have other customs. Whatever song you choose, it should be something that you both like.
