when u download a new font for typing to ur computer how do u use it. all that comes up is the font viewer window and it say done or print..........................how do i use it..........

Open Windows\Font directory
Select install new Font option.
Browse and select the font which you downloded.
That's it.

Right click on the Font file to install it or you may copy the ".fon" file to your windows font folder(search using the serach option) and then try accessing those files in your microsoft word program.

if usin windows xp home.. open control panel.. switch to classic view(easier) and click the fonts folder and drag it into there.. and it wil install..
the other answers was right.. thats just a step by step thing..

You have to put it in the c:\windows\fonts folder
Or double click on it and it should install the that directory automatically.
