I saw a group of people pray over a malfunctioning washing machine once. Yeah, I thought it was pretty strange. I have met a lot of Christians that are like that. But then again, I think most Christians are moderate. You watched an example of fundamentalist Christians. I can't imagine seeing a group of Methodists or Presbyterians doing that. Its weird, but to each their own I always say.

No, im a christian, and I don't bless anything. If God wants to bless my power point he can, I will appreciate it. Those people are nuts. Like any documentary they get the worst of the bunch to get reaction. I think that its a feather in Christianities cap that those people are as nutty as they can find.

if you honestly believe that God is present everywhere and is all-powerful and cares about your concerns, then it makes perfect sense. Personally, it's not something I'd do, but it's no odder really than praying for anything else.
