Are the effects of ingesting marijuana through food really that different than the effects of smoking it? I hear the effects start later but last longer and can be more intense and sometimes scary. Anyone have any comments/ stories?

The end effect is the same, you get stoned, but you must eat many more times the quantity to achieve the same affect as to smoking it.

I never saw a "special brownie" I wouldn't eat, and eat more of....

Definitely more of a trippy ride and hits all at once instead of smoking it where it builds as you continue to (or not continue to) smoke it.

True that on start later, last longer, and are more intense.

As for it being scary, the worst thing you want to do is eat a couple, then get the brilliant idea that you aren't feeling anything so you should eat a couple more - perhaps a couple more after that....oh crap, this is pretty scary now as you literally are tripping in THC.....

come to think of it, maybe its time to whip up a batch of brownies!
