The way I understand it.. people who are reincarnated are the ones that still have to work on making themselves better people in the next life.. so it is like saying "you were a failure the first time around"... "time to hit it again and get it right this time".

Since some people live great lives there is no reason for them to come back.

GOOD LUCK IN YOUR QUEST.. BTW..
Let us know if it is really true... (smiles)

There is nothing inherent in the notion of reincarnation that says it is a closed system. That is, there is no reason to say that new souls are not being introduced to the world, along with the souls being born to new bodies.

And, even if you beleive that there is a set number of souls, there is nothing to say that there are not even more souls "in waiting" than the Earth has ever held living people.

Maybe that's why there's so much death and famine in the world - because there aren't enough souls to fill bodies. I believe in reincarnation, 98% (with a little wiggle room). Still, it's a very interesting concept.

Are you sure that the population is growing?
I think that there could have been more people on the earth before Christ because there was no birth-control, men had many wives and scores of children....

and there were no census... it was not allowed by christian law.. and when the taxes began, I think, I could be wrong, but at that time census began so that the government knew who was paying taxes and who wasn't paying taxes.

Only the population of humans is increasing. There are countless animals whose populations are decreasing. They have done good things and now get to be the most noble creature. Their souls get to be in a human host, what every animal works toward.

I didn't believe in reincarnation in any of my past lives and I'm not going to start now.

Supposedly some souls are reincarnated because "we" have things to learn and once we learn these things there is no need to reincarniate them so new souls are created.

I personally don't believe in reincarnation. However, I believe that every human individual carry generic markers which can identify their furtherest ancients, their life and surrounding environments.

Not all souls are on earth at the same time. There are an infinite number of souls that exist. Some souls are on the other side .
