The radiation on my spine went through to the other side and made me get a brown sunburn like strip on my neck area. My whole head has the brown sunburn and its kinda peeling off. Does any one know around how long that lasts? When will it turn into new skin? Do you think it will scar?

I don't know anything about the skin problem, but I am with my mother (from the Chicago area) who has colon cancer, and she is being treated at a privated clinic in Houston, called The Burzynski Clinic, founded by S.R.Burzynski, M.D. Phd. Mom came here cuz she had doesn't want to do chemo and radiation again. His initial success was with patients with brain tumors. Many people in remission or cured. You may want to check him out on the net in case you get a reoccurance of the tumor.
It must suck to have the skin problems, but hey, beauty is only skin deep. Good luck.

We have a lot of people who come in either before they start radiation or after and ask for pure aloe vera gel. You might want to try starting that and see if it helps. And talk to your radiologist and your doctor about this also.
