We're still really close and he hasnt gotten over our relationship yet, but ive moved on and am dating a new guy...but my ex bought me like a 250 dollar car stereo for v-day...should i accept it? we planned on still doing valentines day, but just like hanging out kinda thing...nothing serious....and so what should i get him now?

it's not an appropriate gift to get a 'friend' for valentine's day...especially a recently broken up boy/girlfriend and you shouldn't accept it. Tell him it was great of him to offer but to either let you pay him for it or take it back and get himself something nice. You probably shouldn't even spend Valentine's day with him if u've truly moved on because it is giving both him and your current boyfriend conflicting messages. Other casual days may be fine but this sounds more like a 'date'.

I think the best thing to do would be to return the car radio. No matter what he says, if he is not yet over you then him getting you this gift is his way of hopeing you and him will get back together.

you need to not accept it, because you are not with him any more
so why would you do this. if he has not gotten oven you then
you dont need to keep this going. time to let him know it done
and move on. give the gif back.

you should return the gift he gave you and tell him its tooo much and give him something small like candy or a card...the same thing you would get you best friend..
