It depends on the tattoo and where it's placed.
I'm not so much into the worded tattoos, especially if they're the names of celebrities and even worse if it's the girl's own name. However, if they're poetic or philosophical, I think it's really hot.
Tattoos on the back, belly, arms, and legs are okay, though I think tattoos on the upper back or lower back are really hot. Kind of a turn-off if a girl has a tattoo on a private area, although upper-thigh is okay.
Symbolic tattoos I think are the best, like maybe ying-yang or a dragon. The hottest tattoos are those that actually mean something to the wearer.
Of course, I suppose my opinion doesn't matter since I'm a girl, but... that's what I think is hot, and I think tattooed girls are hotter, because they're more adventerous and broad-minded.

For me at least, a girl without a tattoo is clean. She may not be the prettiest girl around but as long as shes clean shes all right with me.
A girl with a tattoo though is a girl who give off an aura that implies that she can do things most parents really fear. Even though shes the most beautiful girl around, shes way too dangerous for me.
And so if i got a choice I would still go for the girl without a tattoo..

Very few tattoos are tasteful.. You may have a piece of jewelry that you love to wear but one day you will tire of it or no longer want it... you can throw the jewelry away but the tattoo will cost big bucks to get rid of...
Therefore, girls without tattoos are more intelligent... (smiles)
To answer your question more directly.. At first glance... guys think girls with tattoos are "easy".

Who cares what people think...it's their own body and they can do what they want with it? This is also a hypocritical question...What do you think of guys with tattoos vs. guys without them?
So who really cares? If someone wants to express theirself thru body art then more power to them and if they choose to express themself in other ways then go ahead and do that...No one should care what anyone else thinks when it comes time to get a tattoo. It should only matter to the person getting it.

I prefer without. I do like some tattoos that are original (ex. no tribal tats & no tramp stamps).
I don't care for the girls that are tattoo junkies.

This is a trend that is going to continue, I myself, like women ( WITHOUT ) tattoos. they appear more intelligent. Just think when your a grandma, your grand kids, that tattoo now might look good, but somehow when the body stretches, how it gonna look with someones chin down to their feer, or a rose that now sprouts under your armpits. :) just my opinion

It's not a good idea to me, unless your tattoo means something good like ' Jesus ' or something. But remember when your grandkids see your tattoo what will they think? And this means you ca never get rid or it. I wouldn't. When I see females with tattoos I think they're addicted smokers and ride Harleys and have had problems with relashionships. But that's my opinion. I hope you make your choice.

girls with tattoos are stereotyped as slutty. ESPECIALLY if you have a lower back tattoo. That screams slut.
Don't mean to be mean, but that is the stereotypical view these days.

It depends where,... some guy wont bring a girl to meet his family if her tattoo are too reveling.
