Every situation is different. If you are helping out with bills, groceries etc and you and your parents are happy with the situation then, no it is not a problem. I think though, since you are asking this question you yourself have a concern with your living arrangements. I am currently going through somewhat of the same situation. I've decided to do what is suitable for myself. I feel having privacy in my own new place would be best for me. It is hard to answer this question without knowing your situation.. I believe moving out and getting out on your own will help to motivate you and achieve your own personal goals. I am saying this because that is how I feel about myself. Goodluck and have fun with your new place, if that is what you decide to do ;)

It depends on the situation. Are you going to school? Is there a reason that your unable to be on your own? do you have a Job? my son just turned 18 and ill let him stay here while he goes to school so that he can pay for it. Its too hard for a young person just starting out to manage a student loan plus paying all those bills. If none of the above apply to you then yes. you do need to get out on your own. If your afraid then get a roommate. youll never be your own person untill you get out and become a mature adult.

you're helping to shelter them, i do no longer see a issue with that. whilst i began out relationship my husband he became into residing together with his mom and he became into extraordinarily much 30. i think of it relies upon on your expectancies. For my kin that form of stuff isn't that unusual (my little brothers, 25 and 19, the two nonetheless stay with my mom. I even have an aunt who's in her 50s and lives with my grandparents) so i think of it relatively is in basic terms an issue of your attitude. certainly if what you're saying is real - which you're helping them pay the expenditures and such - this is relatively extraordinarily candy.

No. As long as you pay rent, pay your share of the utilities, groceries, help out with chores and an extra something for your parents each month.

my younger sister is 27 and she still lives at home. so dont worry about it, there are people much older than you still at home.
The question is, are you contributing to society? do you have a job? do you pay rent and contribute to the home? if you are then great. if not then you should consider doing so.
