Which particular American accent?
There are as likely as many English accents as there are American ones too.
There is likely one drawback for you, Film / Video. By this I mean, we only have to switch on TV here (UK) and there is the likelihood that it will be (about a 35% chance) an American we are watching who's talking. So the accent is not something 'fresh' to the English ear.
Sorry. Now if you were blessed with a European continental accent, say, French....

Menickers, I have always found the American accent to be a turn on. I love it. I also love the Brooklyn one.
The only thing is, I'm no longer a girl, I'm a granny now. I never did meet the American of my dreams, then again there wasn't that many around in England when I was young.

I love the New England accent. We watch American Idol because we know we'll hear the 'proper' American accent for that region as opposed to 'TV' accents.
I dare say there are English accents that would make you cringe!

Hi you awl, there are so many accents from both the states and the UK. the question is therefore flawed.
One really has to ask oneself if one likes the rather nice posh accent, or a coarse one from some parts, of shall we say, the north.
The same applies to the US, a nice New England accent or a Sarf Americain Texicain Drawl.

i thinks accents are cool my fiance' and i change our accents all the time just to spice things up a bit!! especially the english accent i speak the american accent so after a while it gets boring!!

Well there all different so it really depends........... But YES most are dam sexy!
& I can assure you not all English accents are the same or even similar. The english you hear on films is probably about 5% of how people speak in the uk ,if that!

sure. i'm a American lady and right here each lady i be attentive to is in love with the accessory. i admire English accents myself. in basic terms dont bypass over the best attempting to electrify them with the accessory. in case you have the accessory evidently, then in basic terms use it regularly and have faith me, you will replace into very observed
