I want to make it clear that I am different from the girls he is used to. I don't want him to think I am easy or sleep around. I used to date his old friend who ended up hating me, and I have heard of some awful rumors he has spread.

Being a guy I can only tell you how a girl gains my respect. Thats from a few things. She is herself around me, she is honest and sincere. Thats it. If a girl shows me those things then she has my respect. So just be yourself, be honest, and be sincere and you should have his respect in no time. I hope this helped! Good luck!

Show him that you respect yourself. The first date I had with a guy I dated a little while ago-getting out of his car-I waited for him to walk over to my side and open the door for me. He did. He learned really quick that way, that I have enough respect for myself-and expect the same from him-for him to be a gentleman. This old friend of his-they are no longer friends? Why? Does this guy you like know what kind of a guy he is-and how he is bad, and spreads bad rumors about people? He probably does. And probably doesn't hang out with him anymore-or at least not much.Take care.

show him that your not like the rumors or the other girls, just hang out and have lots of laughs. If he dont see that your better then the rumors or the easy girls then he dont deserve you.

This is what I think, you just be yourself and have great communication with him. DONT be someone you are NOT! If your a respectable good person you won't have to prove anything to him for actions speak MUCH louder than words.

Well he probably doesn't respect you IF he chooses to believe his old friend and it probably doesn't look to good that you are dating him now knowing he was a friend of one of your exes. All you can do is keep your legs closed and let him get to know you for who you really are.

don't let him kiss you are ANYTHING until the third date. act proper. Explain to him that the rumours aren't true. Stay away from miniskirts or super revealing shirts.

Be yourself and don't take any ****! That means you have to respect yourself and don't let anyone talk you into anything against your better judgment.

make sure you remain classy. make him wait to just kiss you. he will want it more if you do. dress classy, show a 'lil skin, but dont put it all out there. he will want to get to know you if you stay a little standoffish.

don't be flirty, be yourself, don't care to much for material things. Be interested in what he is to, and don't make him be at your beck and call.
