if a guy that has just recently asked you to be his girlfriend (and you agreed) and about a week later, he told you that he loved you. how would you react?

why worrying about this, don't you have a pen and a paper, just write down how you feel and never stop believing that one day the right person will come.

It depends on who the person is and how it has been said.. If alcohol had been a factor I would just let it go. It also depends on how long you have known the person. You could have been going out for a week but known each other for years. Every situation is truly different. You need to tell your partner what saying "i love you" means to you. From my experience.. knowing someone for only one week.. there is no way you could know everything about them.. and I believe if you are going to be in a relationship and tell someone you love them and truly mean it you need to KNOW them..

I would think he's just telling me that so I will be more likely to have sex with him... or that he's rushing things and I wouldn't say it back.

I'd be surprised!!!!!! After a week, that's pretty............... well, that's fast!! I don't think I would believe him cuz it has just been a week.... so... I wouldn't take it seriously...
