One of the first indicators of skin cancer is a change in size/shape/color of a mole. This is the ONLY reason a mole shouldn't be tattooed over (and if your family has a history skin cancer, you probably shouldn't get inked at all)...As for the rest of these idiots....tattooing over a mole will not kill you......cause you to bleed excessively.....give you nerve damage.....or make you go blind, deaf and dumb.....lol

While I dont think you will DIE from tattooing a mole, I know a lot of artists wont do it, but I am not exactly sure why. But I find it VERY hard to believe that you could die from tattooing over a mole.

Definitely no; Moles are directly linked with the nervous system in many cases and tattoo in that place will affect your brain and even death may occur. Don't take any risk.

no!i wouldnt recommend it as it could damage the mole or lead to an infection whithin the mole.

That would not be a good idea to do because the Doctors like to keep an eye on them in case they change color. You could have it removed. That would be better for health reasons.

you may have to check in with a dermatologist first. some of the moles are attached to the deeper skin down to your blood vessels, so tattooing on it them accidentally damage your nerves, or causing excessive bleeding.
