What is the job title of this person?

I know they are drivers, but I am trying to do a search on yahoo to find information on this type of job, and I can't find anything. Can anyone help?

Transporters. What you are referring to is called dealer swaps

it depends. there are drivers as listed above, but they usually work for a specific dealer group and deliver cars from one location to another. for example i work for the phil long automotive group, we have drivers on staff who deliver a brand new saturn vue from the denver store to the colorado springs store. then there are the delivery drivers, they usually work either independently, for a major trucking company, or for the car maker, they deliver a large number of cars to a dealership, all of the same make. then there are wholesalers. they buy cars from one dealership because the car did not sell for what ever reason, they then sell it to another dealership for a profit because the second dealership thinks they can sell it. usually they deal in used cars but they also deal in new cars from time to time.

Most dealerships are always looking for good drivers they pay pretty well, but you do need a spotless driving record.

Drivers, lol. Seriously. They drive cars to dealerships from other dealerships or they drive a trailer hauling several at a time.
