Is there any other reason to have a gross (and I do mean alot) of blood in your urine other than infection or a kidney stone? And at what point do you need to be concerned. I do have a 1 cm stone in the upj of my ureter and I have had blood before but tonight I had so much that my urine looks almost marron/black. I am having surgery on wendsday Do I need to call the Doctor in the middle of the night. I have very little pain and no fever.

I suggest at the very least you call a nurse helpline. That sounds very serious. Is there anyway that you can monitor your blood pressure? If it's low I would suggest a visit to the E.R.. Be careful, I hope that you feel better soon.
