You draw inference from the very name of yours. See what Bhagwad Gita says: You are destined according to your karma of the past birth. What you get in this life and how you handle this becomes the asset/liability for the next birth. Have faith in Lord.

Because life isn't fair. Good luck is relative anyway. I doubt if you're on a lucky streak, you're going to question it or feel as if you don't deserve it. It's only when things are bad do you realize how seemingly bad your luck is.

It is gifted according to his past deeds. If he has done plenty of good deeds then his luck is more and vice versa. Our past karma decides the amount of luck to be gifted.

Depends on your theology.
It could be part of Gods plan, God testing you, reprocussions from previous acts, karma, or needing to go through those experiences in your lives to fully understand life.

Karma...what goes around comes around. Just goes to show you that you should always treat others as you would have them treat you...no matter what. I've seen it happen too many times not to believe in it.
