You can download DivX Convertor from DivX.com and then rip it to AVI format.

just find a converter
like go tot google or yahoo or download.com and type
convert .dvd to .avi
change .dvd to what ever format it is in already

You can go to CNET Downloads and download a converter from there. They've got everything you can think of on there and alot of them are freeware.

go to videora.com, they got the hook up, it takes a while for it to get to 1% while its transfering but after it goes faster and faster faster
